Acceptable Use
Policy For Computers and the Internet
The use of Holy Trinity
High School’s computer resources is a privilege. In compliance with the Children’s Internet Protection Act of
2001, filtering through a proxy server is in place to protect the students from
inappropriate material on the Internet in school. It is expected that all individuals utilizing Holy Trinity’s
computers and networks will undertake responsibility for their actions and
words and will, furthermore, respect the rights and privileges of all network
users.
All users are entirely responsible
for all activities conducted through an eChalk account. eChalk accounts will
not be used to transmit any harassing, threatening, or otherwise abusive
messages, data, or information. The account
may not be used to post or transmit any unsolicited advertising, promotional,
or marketing materials. Users will not
violate any privacy rights or rights of publicity of any person. Users will not attempt or assist others in
attempting to compromise the security or integrity of Holy Trinity’s eChalk
system.
Failure to adhere to this Acceptable
Use Policy may result in the termination of all privileges relating to the use
of Holy Trinity’s eChalk system.
