The mission of the Holy Trinity Library Media Center is to provide information and resources that will assist all members of the school community in their learning experiences. The Holy Trinity Library Media Center supports the guidelines set forth in Information Power by providing intellectual and physical access to materials in all formats, and by providing instruction to foster competence and stimulate interest in reading, viewing, and using information.
In addition to the 20,000 books that are currently in the library collection, Holy Trinity is part of the Nassau BOCES School Library System. This membership affords the community access to inter-library loans in over 100 schools in Nassau County. Simply click to view the Union Catalog.
The library media center offers the student use of 34 computer work stations. All computers in the library have Internet access to enable the students to use any of the databases in our Online Collection.
Students are welcome to read the print copies of the New York Times, Newsday, or the Wall Street Journal in the library daily. To read the online versions, simply click on the titles.
Our collection of more than 1,000 curriculum related videos are available to all students. The video collection is searchable through the OPAC.
